Our hotel recommended this pricey casino restaurant. Parking was free and the easiest part. Park right near casino entrance. The dinner menu was select and high priced fish dinners. We finally ordered off the select small portion meals. We got panned seared.
Temporarily Closed
In response to the Alberta provincial government announcement on December 8th, the operations at Starlight Casino Edmonton will be temporarily suspended effective December 13th at 12:01AM.
Gateway will continue to work with local and provincial governments; public health authorities; and regulators to collaboratively prevent the spread of COVID-19. This closure is scheduled to be in place until at least January 12, 2021. Details regarding the reopening of Starlight Casino will be announced at a later time.

The health and wellbeing of our guests and employees is our top priority
- Casinos will reduce seating capacities at all available games in order to comply with public health guidelines for safe distancing and allow for minimum of six feet between guests.
- Our facilities continue to operate with the highest health & safety standards and will follow all public health officials’ guidelines to ensure that our facilities are clean, safe and healthy.
- New training given to employees, Charitable Workers and Cash Cage Advisors to ensure their own health and safety as well as others.
- All hard surfaces and high touch areas are sanitized frequently throughout the day.
- Employee wellness will be checked at the beginning of each shift and no employee is allowed in the facility with any flu-like symptoms.
- Our teams are washing their hands frequently with soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand rub for at least 20 seconds.
- All areas will be deep cleaned and sanitized at least once per day with continuous cleaning throughout the day.
- We have clearly marked areas where guests queue with floor decals for your safety and convenience.
- We have added Plexiglas barriers at players club desks, guest services, cashiers, and other areas throughout the property, to protect guests and employees alike.
- We have eliminated hand-to-hand contact with guests and co-workers (no handshakes, fist bumps, high-fives, etc.)
- We will continue to consult with the public health officials to ensure the health and wellbeing of our guests and employees.

- Available seats will be separated by a physical barrier.
- Table games will vary from 3-5 players total, based on health and safety protocols in place for that specific game.
- Each betting space may be used by a player, where a clear barrier separating that space and player is being utilized.
- Hand sanitization will be required when a new player joins a table game, periodically throughout the duration of their play, and before they leave.

All guests to the Starlight Casino can apply to join the Players Club and receive a free Encore Rewards Card. Fill in the application form at the guest services desk in the casino and show a government issued ID in order to join.
All points earned from playing on the slots and electronic table games are recorded on the card and for every 1000 points you receive $5 of free slots play.
The reward scheme has several levels and guests move up to higher levels as they accumulate more points.
